Asahi Y-type sediment strainers are a 15–100 mm product range with a plastic body and a screen. The transparent body allows the flow inside to be checked. The strainer can be disassembled and reassembled to clean or replace the screen. The manufacturer describes the plastic body as resistant to corrosion, chemicals and wear.
