Today we introduce the TURBOVAC i series - a turbomolecular pump designed to achieve high-vacuum environments.

Product Introduction

The TURBOVAC i series is a modular turbomolecular vacuum pump providing pumping speeds from 90 to 1,450 L/s. It incorporates a hybrid rotor bearing system designed as follows:

• Fore-vacuum region: Lubricated ceramic ball bearings
• High-vacuum region: Non-wearing magnetic bearings

All bearings generally require no lubricant and prevent vacuum contamination from oil backstreaming.

TURBOVAC i Series Lineup

TURBOVAC i

Choose from two interface options:

1. Compact Standard Interface: RS485, USB with 3-status LED, digital I/O interface, and control for one accessory.
2. Anybus Interface: Advanced interface supporting all field buses, with an option to upgrade to IP54 waterproof/dustproof protection.

TURBOVAC iX

• Expanded 2-pump functionality → acts as a vacuum system controller
• Supports various communication protocols and field buses
• Controls up to 6 accessories and a backing pump

TURBOVAC iR

The TURBOVAC iR Hybrid Turbomolecular Vacuum Pump was developed to meet the demanding requirements of applications exposed to high-ionization radiation while providing the necessary vacuum. The TURBOVAC iR can be operated remotely at distances up to 200 m.

TURBOVAC i Multi-Inlet

A solution for applications that require multi-point vacuum performance in limited space. When building multiple independent vacuum pumps is difficult, the Multi-Inlet technology places multiple intake ports connected to a central turbomolecular pump - resulting in superior spatial efficiency. The TURBOVAC i Multi-Inlet pump enables lower initial and ongoing operating costs, and is ideal for mass spectrometry applications or cases where multi-point vacuum must be housed within a larger instrument.
