Apparently Exit 6 of Samseong Station is closed.
So head for Exit 5 of Samseong Station on Line 2.

Trust the banner beside you and go straight toward Exit 5.

You can see the way out, and the Trade Center is listed second.
Keep going forward.

Through the tunnel, and we have arrived at COEX.
Just trust the Trade Center entrance sign overhead and go straight.

Go straight and you will see an escalator.
Just ride it up.
I did stop to ask for directions here...

No problem. Take the path to the right.

We have arrived at the Trade Center!
That was the route from Samseong Station to the Korea Trade Center.

But aren't you curious why I came to the Trade Center?

Take a look at the view of the Korea Trade Center.

First, let us take the elevator up.

I came to attend the briefing session on Agent AI utilization strategy and government AI support programs.

Me, attending a briefing on government AI support programs...?
Am I really the right person to go?
Is it really me?
Why?
Me?
Yes, it is you, they say...
Since I am going anyway, I will look on the bright side: the blogger has one more episode to write about.
What kind of event is the briefing session on Agent AI utilization strategy and government AI support programs?

Main topics
① Trends in AI Agents and industrial AX
② Government AI support programs and corporate support schemes
③ Use cases of AI Agents in export and trade work
④ Directions for applying Agentic AI on industrial sites
Main presenting organizations: Kyung Hee University, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA), National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), Big Mount & Company, LG CNS and others
It is a support program briefing session hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and the Korea Artificial Intelligence Software Industry Association.

Shall we take a closer look around the venue?

Water and coffee had been laid out.
I will have a cup.

The view from the 51st floor of the Trade Center was really great.

Boss, I got here early.
Please note the time!
The briefing starts at 1 o'clock.

Period 1 begins.
Lecture title: Agent AI, Changes in the Export Industry
Professor Han Jeong-hyu of Kyung Hee University came to speak.
For confidentiality reasons I cannot share the content of the lecture, but I really enjoyed it.

Period 2
Main topic: introduction to the R&D program for developing industrial AI agent technology that solves problems on industrial sites
Park Ji-yong, Industrial AX PD, Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology

Period 3
AI technology development support programs for SMEs and directions for using AI
Main topic: introduction to AI technology development programs for small and medium-sized manufacturers
Kim Bo-min, AI Technology Program Team Leader, Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs

Period 4
AX integrated voucher for Agent AI utilization (AI, AX youth voucher)
Main topic: introduction to the AI voucher support program
National IT Industry Promotion Agency
After Period 4, we had a 10-minute break.
I came back from the restroom and what is this...
Where did everyone go?

The room is completely empty...
Period 5 is starting...
Please come back to your seats.
Period 5 started at 3:14.
CEO Oh Dae-san of Big Mount & Company came to speak.
Core AI Agent concepts and tools that export practitioners need to know
Transforming export work with AI Agents
He talked about real use cases at a small trading company and gave a demonstration.

The session that felt easiest and most fun today was CEO Oh Dae-san's.
He said that a lecture he normally gives over about 2 hours had to be compressed into 1 hour today because of time constraints, yet even in that short time he explained difficult AI topics in a way that was easy to understand, which was impressive.
The other speakers came from public institutions or were professors, so their lectures were by the book and a little stiff overall, whereas CEO Oh Dae-san spent a lot of time demonstrating AI live, which made his lecture far more engaging.
He did not stop at explaining theory. He showed AI actually being used,
and ran the session so that participants could think and take part themselves, so I stayed focused and enjoyed it.
Above all, he explained content that could feel difficult as simply as possible, and I think that took away some of my anxiety about AI.
It was a short time, but it was a useful lecture where I could see concrete ways to put AI to actual use.

That is probably why I took so many photos of the AI demonstration.
He said an hour was too short and told us to come to his lecture next time,
but where is it? Why did he leave without telling us?
I would like to attend.
If you see this, please leave a comment.

Ju Min-sik, Head of the LG CNS Advanced Technology Research Lab
Please look at the clock at the top left.
This is the time we were supposed to finish,
but Period 6 will now begin.

Period 6
The bottlenecks of industrial AX in the era of Agentic AI co-evolution: Limited Data and Under Engineered
Beyond AI to Data Fabric
Ju Min-sik, Head of the LG CNS Advanced Technology Research Lab, joined us.

Hey AI,
write me a marketing blog post!

The final Period 6, with Ju Min-sik, Head of the LG CNS Advanced Technology Research Lab.
It was impressive because I got to hear a slightly different perspective from the previous five sessions.
The earlier sessions talked a lot about how fast AI technology is advancing and how it could be used in the future, whereas this lecture gave the realistic view that today's AI technology has not yet reached that level.
After listening to talk of AI's progress and potential for so long,
at some point it started to feel as if AI could solve everything.
This lecture gave me a chance to think about the limits of current technology and about how AI is viewed on real industrial sites.
It felt like stepping out of hours buried in AI technology and coming back to reality for a moment.
Rather than unconditional expectations or optimistic forecasts, it was a meaningful session that let me look realistically at how far AI has come
and in which direction it will develop.

And with that, all the sessions came to an end.
At that point I passed out...
I do not know when I will see you again.
Goodbye.
