AB31 is NC (open when energized) and AB42 is NO (closed when energized) in this direct acting poppet 2-port solenoid valve series. It is used for air, low vacuum, water, kerosene and oil, with hot water and steam as options. AB31 has Rc1/8 and Rc1/4 ports, and AB42 has Rc1/4 and Rc3/8 ports.
