HOKE GYROLOK Dielectric Tube Fittings are insulating fittings that interrupt electrical current flowing through a pipe or tube line to protect instrumentation and metering equipment. They have a 316 stainless steel body with thermoplastic insulators, a Viton O-ring and TFE back-up ring for fluid containment, and come as unions (DU) and male connectors (DCM).

| Models | Dielectric unions DU: 4DU-316 (tube O.D. 1/4"), 6DU-316 (3/8"), 8DU-316 (1/2") / dielectric male connectors DCM: 6DCM4-316 (tube O.D. 3/8") |
| Overall Length (in) | 4DU-316: 3.78 / 6DU-316: 3.92 / 8DU-316: 4.15 / 6DCM4-316: 3.66 |
| Flow Passage Inside Diameter (in) | 4DU-316: 0.19 / 6DU-316: 0.28 / 8DU-316: 0.42 / 6DCM4-316: 0.28 |
| Body Material | 316 stainless steel |
| Insulator | Molded thermoplastic |
| O-ring Material | 90 durometer Viton |
| Back-up Washer | Virgin TFE |
| Electrical Resistance of Insulators | 7.0×10⁸ Ω at 10 V DC, 70 °F and 50% relative humidity / 1.0×10⁶ Ω at 10 V DC, 100 °F and 90% relative humidity |
| Pressure Rating | 4000 PSIG at 70 °F (27,580 kPa at 21 °C) |
| Temperature Rating | -40 °F to +200 °F (-40 °C to +93 °C) |
| Tube Connection | GYROLOK 2-ferrule system |
| Application | Interrupts electrical current flowing through a pipe or tube line to protect instrumentation. On natural gas transmission impulse lines it keeps current from impressed current cathodic protection systems, static electricity or lightning strikes from reaching monitoring station equipment |
| Caution | A 'NO WRENCHING' label is placed on the hex of the nut in the insulation sections; do not disconnect at this point |
