A steam conditioning valve (SCV-SA) with an integrated atomizing system that uses the kinetic energy of the flowing steam to disperse cooling water into fine droplets. It suits cooling close to saturation temperature and high water/steam ratios. It is also used for high steam flows or when the cooling water pressure is below half the steam pressure.

| Type | Steam conditioning valve with integrated steam-assisted atomizing system (SCV-SA) |
| Atomizing Principle | Kinetic energy of the flowing steam disperses and evaporates the droplets |
| Application Conditions | Cooling close to saturation temperature, high water/steam ratio, high steam flows, cooling water pressure below half the steam pressure |
