A steam conditioning valve (SCV-OT) that injects cooling water in direct proportion to plug lift. As the plug rises, the orifices in the tube are uncovered in turn. The number, size and arrangement of the holes set the water volume to match the steam volume, giving even atomization and evaporation across the whole flow range.
