A ferrofluid rotary feedthrough that transfers rotation into vacuum, with magnetic fluid sealing the gap between the shaft and pole pieces like an O-ring. The non-contact seal has no friction, and flange mount, nose mount, hollow shaft and water-cooled spindle types are available.
