- A bare shaft valve is supplied with only the stem exposed - no handle or actuator installed. The appropriate driver (manual handle, pneumatic actuator, or electric actuator) is chosen and attached on site. This is used for projects where the automation plan is implemented in phases, or where the same body is to be reused with different driver configurations.
- How do I choose between 2PC and 3PC?
- 2PC has fewer parts and fewer leakage points and is cost-competitive, making it the standard choice for general shutoff lines. 3PC allows seat and ball servicing without dismantling the pipeline, which is advantageous for lines with frequent maintenance. General operating lines use 2PC; lines with high maintenance frequency or requiring long-term operation without full disassembly use 3PC.
- What flange standard is used?
- The default flange standard for PAV-10 is JIS 10K. Alternative international standards including KS, ANSI, and PN are available upon request. Please share the flange standard and bolt-hole pattern of your existing line and we will prepare the appropriate specification.
- What is the practical benefit of the ISO5211 direct mounting pad?
- The ISO5211 direct mounting pad couples the actuator directly to the body top without a separate bracket or coupler. This eliminates intermediate parts, reducing stem bending from alignment error and torque loss. Any future actuator type change (pneumatic or electric) can reuse the same pad standard, which is advantageous for standardization and long-term maintenance.
