How do I distinguish between L port and T port?
L port has a structure where only one of two ports is connected, suitable for simple switching applications such as selecting one of two supplies or supplying to a single outlet. T port has a structure that can connect three ports simultaneously, used for manifolds requiring simultaneous branching and merging. Choose L port for simple switching process sequences, T port for simultaneous multi-path control.
What do the 90°/180°/360° rotation angle options mean?
3-way ball valves require different ball rotation angles depending on port configuration. General L port and T port switching is sufficient with 90° rotation, but rotation control selecting multiple paths sequentially requires 180° or 360° rotation. What options can be added to electric actuators?
Various options are available depending on application. First, small-diameter valves can be configured with approximately 1-second high-speed open/close specifications, suitable for batch and sequence control lines requiring fast ON/OFF repetition. Second, for sections requiring continuous flow control, proportional control specifications that control opening with 4-20 mA input signals can be selected. Third, explosion-proof actuator specifications are available for hazardous areas handling flammable gas or ignitable liquids. What happens to the valve when power is interrupted?
Standard electric actuators maintain the current position when power is cut.
