What 4-way port configurations are offered?
PAVE-08 supports four port configurations: L, T, X, and I. The L port performs 90-degree directional switching by selecting one of two paths; the T port is for manifolds requiring simultaneous branching and merging; the X port is a cross-flow type that switches two paths simultaneously; the I port is used for straight-through configurations. Select the appropriate configuration according to your process sequence and piping layout.
What do the 90°/180°/360° rotation angle options mean?
4-way ball valves require different ball rotation angles depending on port configuration. General simple switching is sufficient with 90° rotation, but rotation control selecting multiple paths sequentially requires 180° or 360° rotation. PAVE-08 supports these three rotation angle options, so provide your process sequence and required number of control positions and we will guide you to the appropriate specification.
What options can be added to electric actuators?
Various options are available depending on application. First, small-diameter valves can be configured with approximately 1-second high-speed open/close specifications, suitable for lines requiring fast ON/OFF repetition. Second, for sections requiring continuous flow control, proportional control specifications that control opening with 4-20 mA input signals can be selected. Third, explosion-proof actuator specifications are available for hazardous areas handling flammable gas or ignitable liquids.
What happens to the valve when power is interrupted?
Standard electric actuators maintain the current position when power is cut. If automatic return to a specific position is required when power is lost, an actuator specification including battery backup or spring-return is required.
