4WAY Pneumatic Ball Valve BSPT (SUS316, Double Acting)
Model: PAVP-08(D)
PAVP-08(D) is a 4WAY ball valve combining a SUS316 body with a pneumatic double-acting actuator. It supports four port configurations (L/T/X/I), with an ISO5211 direct mounting pad applied as standard. It is used for multi-direction flow-switching and automatic-control lines in the chemical, plant, water/wastewater, and construction sectors.
Features
- Compact design for easy installation in confined spaces
- Leak tested per API598
- First in Korea to apply ISO5211 Direct Mounting Pad

Frequently Asked Questions
- What port configurations are available for PAVP-08 (D)?
- PAVP-08 (D) supports four port configurations: L, T, X, and I. The L-port handles 90° directional switching to select one of two paths; the T-port serves manifolds requiring simultaneous branching and merging; the X-port is used for cross-flow configurations switching two paths simultaneously; the I-port is used for inline pass-through. Selection varies with process sequence and piping layout, so for difficult cases please send the piping isometric drawing for a joint review.
- How do I choose between double acting and single acting?
- Double acting drives the valve pneumatically in both open and close directions, offering a large torque margin and fast actuation, but position retention is uncertain on air loss. Single acting (spring return) automatically returns to a preset direction (Fail Close or Fail Open) on air loss, making it suitable for lines where safety shutoff is critical. Choose double acting for general control and high-speed sequences, and single acting for lines with Fail-safe requirements.
- What accessories can be attached to a pneumatic valve?
- Various accessory combinations can be supplied as integrated packages tailored to site requirements. Common options include limit switch boxes for open/close feedback to DCS or PLC, solenoid valves for remote sequence control, and air filter regulators for particulate and moisture removal and pressure stabilization of the supply air. Please share your site configuration and we will prepare the appropriate combination.
- Can BSPT connections be used directly on PT or NPT lines?
- BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper, 55°) and PT (JIS taper, 55°) share the same thread angle and are generally interchangeable with sealing tape. NPT (US standard, 60°) has a different angle and poses a leakage risk if connected directly; use an adapter or an NPT-specific product for NPT lines.
