- How do conical reducers differ from step reducers?
- A step reducer has a shape where two diameters change abruptly - simple in structure, but generating significant turbulence and pressure loss. A conical reducer changes diameter gradually in a cone shape, reducing flow resistance and minimizing conductance loss. In vacuum lines, conical types are recommended particularly in sections where pumping efficiency is important.
- Why is piping conductance important in vacuum lines?
- Piping conductance represents the gas-throughput capability of the pipe per unit time. In the high-vacuum range in particular, the actual achieved vacuum is determined by piping conductance rather than the pump's own pumping speed. As diameter decreases, conductance drops sharply, so design principles call for keeping the pump-inlet diameter as large as possible and using gradual transitions instead of abrupt steps.

- Supply is available within the KF (NW) or ISO flange standard ranges with combinations of starting and ending sizes. Tell us the required inlet/outlet sizes (e.g., NW40 → NW25) and we will prepare the matching specifications.
- What are the connection methods at both ends?
