Vacuum MF End Flange (SUS304)

A SUS304 end flange that closes the end of ISO-MF standard vacuum piping. With global standard dimensions providing good compatibility with general vacuum components, it is used for line-end closures of vacuum piping in semiconductor, display, solar, and laboratory processes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a standard blank flange differ from an end flange?
A standard blank flange is a fully closed disc with both faces flat. An end flange in the ISO-MF system has one flange mating face and the opposite side machined closed, allowing line termination with a single connection. Blank flanges are typically used for temporary closure of intermediate inspection ports, while end flanges are used for permanent closure of pipe terminations.
Is a centering ring always required?
Yes. The ISO-MF flange system forms its seal by inserting a centering ring (with O-ring) between two flanges. Without a centering ring, the O-ring cannot be properly positioned and no seal is formed, so the flange, centering ring, and O-ring should always be prepared as a matched-size set.
Up to what vacuum level is it usable?
The ISO-MF system is the standard for medium vacuum through high vacuum (HV). For ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environments the CF flange system is more appropriate, so please share your operating environment and we will advise on suitability and alternatives.
How is the size selected?
Tell us the flange standard and size you currently use, and we will supply MF END flanges of the same specification. Common sizes include NW25, NW40, NW50, and NW100.
