Butterfly Valve (SUS304, Lever, 10K)
Model: PMV-26(SS,Lever)
PMV-26(SS,Lever) is a butterfly valve combining a SUS304 body and disc with an EPDM seat and a lever-operated manual operator. With a short face-to-face dimension, concentric construction, and 10K pressure rating as standard, it is used for manual shutoff and branch lines in the chemical, plant, water/wastewater, and construction sectors.
Features
- Short face-to-face distance enables installation in confined spaces
- Simple structural design with low defect rate
- Quick open/close for effective fluid control
- High tightness and durability
- Concentric structure with low torque

Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I choose between lever and gearbox operation?
- Lever operation completes a 90° open/close stroke in a single handle movement - fast and structurally simple. A gearbox reduces the required operator torque through a reduction gear, making it suitable for large-bore valves or lines where differential pressure makes lever operation impractical. Lever operation is generally standard for small-to-medium bore lines; a gearbox is chosen for 200A and above or high differential pressure lines.
- How do I choose between SUS304 and cast-iron bodies?
- Cast-iron bodies offer excellent cost competitiveness and are the standard choice for large-bore lines carrying low-corrosivity fluids such as general industrial water, treated water, and HVAC water. SUS304 bodies offer improved corrosion resistance over cast iron, extending service range to chloride-containing fluids, mildly corrosive fluids, and marine atmospheres.
- What is the applicable range of the EPDM seat?
- EPDM has outstanding durability for water, hot water, and mildly alkaline fluids and maintains good resilience in CIP/SIP environments. However, EPDM can swell when exposed to hydrocarbon fluids such as oils and fuels; for such environments, alternative seat materials such as NBR should be considered.
- Can the valve be converted to actuated operation?
- By removing the lever operator and attaching a pneumatic or electric actuator to the ISO5211 direct mounting pad, the valve can be converted to automated operation without body replacement. This is well suited for phased automation of manually installed lines.
