Pneumatic Butterfly Valve (SUS304, Single Acting, 10K)
Model: PAVP-13(SS,S)
PAVP-13(SS,S) is a butterfly valve combining a SUS304 body and disc with an EPDM seat and a pneumatic single-acting actuator. With a short face-to-face dimension, concentric construction, and 10K pressure rating as standard, it is used for automatic shutoff and fail-safe lines in the chemical, plant, water/wastewater, and construction sectors.
Features
- Short face-to-face distance enables installation in confined spaces
- Simple structural design with low defect rate
- Fast actuation for effective fluid control
- High tightness and durability
- Concentric structure with low torque
- First in Korea to apply ISO5211 Direct Mounting Pad

Frequently Asked Questions
- How is the fail-safe direction set for single-acting?
- Single-acting (spring return) can be configured to automatically return to Fail Close or Fail Open via spring force when pneumatic pressure is lost. Flammable or hazardous material supply lines require automatic shutoff during air loss, so Fail Close is selected; lines such as cooling water or rinse water that must maintain supply use Fail Open. Provide your process safety requirements and we will prepare the spring direction to that specification.
- What is the application range of EPDM seats?
- EPDM has excellent durability against water, hot water, and mildly alkaline fluids, and good recovery elasticity in CIP/SIP environments. However, swelling can occur with hydrocarbon-based fluids such as oil and fuel, so consider other seat materials such as NBR for those environments.
- What accessories can be attached to a pneumatic valve?
- We supply integrated packages combining various accessories to meet field requirements. Typical accessories include limit switch boxes, solenoid valves, and air filter regulators. Let us know your field configuration and we will prepare the appropriate combination.
- How do I choose between SUS304 and SUS316 body?
- SUS304 is the standard specification for general industrial water and utility lines, while SUS316 contains molybdenum (Mo) for improved corrosion resistance in chloride, mildly acidic, and seawater environments. SUS316 or higher is recommended for chloride-containing fluids and coastal plants.
