Frequently Asked Questions

What advantages does the 3PC structure provide for sanitary lines?
In the 3PC structure, the central body and both end caps can be separated, allowing maintenance of the seat, ball, and seals without disassembling the piping. Maintenance cycles can be kept short in sanitary lines with frequent CIP/SIP cycles, and if seat leakage is detected, only that part can be quickly replaced to reduce line downtime.
What role does the patented anti-loosening device play?
The stem-handle joint of ball valves can loosen over time due to repeated operation and vibration. The anti-loosening device fixes the handle with a separate locking structure to suppress such loosening, while also preventing unintended misoperation. It contributes to operator safety management in food and pharmaceutical lines.
Can it be converted to automation later?
PSV-01 features the ISO5211 direct mounting pad as standard, so it can be installed initially with a manual handle and later expanded to automation by adding only a pneumatic or electric actuator. Since only the actuator needs to be attached without replacing the body, it is suited for projects requiring phased automation.
To what extent are 3A design principles applied?
PSV-01 is manufactured reflecting the surface finish, dead-space minimization, and cleanability principles required by the 3A sanitary standard. If your project requires issuance of an official certificate, please notify us in advance and we will advise on availability.
