What advantages does the 3PC structure provide for sanitary lines?
In the 3PC structure, the central body and both ferrule caps can be separated, allowing maintenance of the seat, ball, and seals without disassembling the piping. Maintenance cycles can be kept short in sanitary lines with frequent CIP/SIP cycles, and if seat leakage is detected, only that part can be quickly replaced without replacing the body, contributing to reduced line downtime.
What options are available for the electric actuator?
In addition to the standard specification, several options are available by application. First, for small-bore valves, a high-speed open/close specification of about 1 second is available, suitable for batch and sequence control lines requiring fast ON/OFF repetition. Second, for sections requiring continuous flow control, a proportional control specification with 4-20 mA input signal is available. Third, explosion-proof actuator specifications are available for hazardous areas handling flammable solvents or combustible liquids. Standard electric actuators retain the current position when power is interrupted.
